Medovik with poppy seeds

Dough products: 500 g of flour, 1 packet of cookie powder, a pinch of salt, 1 egg, 60 g of butter, milk so much to get the dough below the average consistency, 200 g of cold smell, 150 g of honey.

For the filling: 200 g of ground poppy, 3 tbsp. spoons of natural honey, 1/2 packs of vanilla sugar, milk.

Mix the flour with all the dough products (except for the smudge). Put the dough in a warm place.

Meanwhile, the ground poppy, honey, vanilla sugar, boil in such quantity of milk to get a thick mass.

Dough rolled into a layer, the size of a flat plate, put in the middle of a cold smalets, fold the dough and roll it back into a thin layer. This procedure is done 4-5 times. The last time roll the dough into a thin layer, in a 1/2 inch layer, cut it into small squares, put a mound of prepared poppy in the middle of each, bend all four ends of the dough and glue it at the top. Lubricate the surface with a beaten egg. Bake in the oven at medium temperature. Finished, still hot items sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Tordai honey-maker.

Dough products: 1 kg of rye flour, 50 grams of cream, 50 g of butter, 200 g of honey, 3 eggs, 8 egg yolks, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, pinch of ground cinnamon.

For glaze: 20 grams of lard, 2 teaspoons of honey, a little water.

Pour the flour on the board with flour, make a groove in the middle, add whole eggs and egg yolks, lard, butter, baking soda, ground cinnamon, add 100 g of warm water and knead the dough with a fairly tight consistency. Divide it into three parts, roll each one into a layer 1 cm thick, cover with glaze, dissolve in a small amount of warm water, smalets and honey. Smear a thin layer of glaze each layer, put them on top of each other and bake in the oven at low temperatures until cooked.
