Necessary products: 400 g of wheat flour, 1 egg yolk, 20 g of yeast, 1 tbsp. l. butter, 4 tbsp. l. honey, 50 ml of cognac, 30 g of raisins, 100 g of poppy, 2 tbsp. l. olive oil.
400 g of wheat flour, 1 egg yolk, 20 g of yeast, 1 tbsp. l. butter, 4 tbsp. l. honey, 50 ml of cognac, 30 g of raisins, 100 g of poppy, 2 tbsp. l. olive oil.
Pour olive oil and liquid honey into the sifted flour. Pour out the pre-soaked raisins in the cognac. Soak in the water poppy. Yeast diluted in a cup of warm water and add to a bowl of flour. First, mix with a wooden spoon (until a soft dough is obtained). Then put the dough on a floured board and knead it with hands until it begins to lag behind the hands and from the board.
Cut the dough into small buns. Connect the buns one to the other and put them in the form of a flower. Put the “flower” on a baking sheet, oiled, and leave to go for 2 hours. Before placing the pan in a preheated oven to 220 њ, grease the rolls with beaten yolk and sprinkle the middle of the “flower” with granulated sugar mixed with poppy seeds. Bake a “poppy flower” 20 min.
