Propolis with stomach ulcer

We recommend the use of propolis in two medical forms – in the form of alcohol solution and propolis oil.

To prepare the alcohol solution, take 10 g of ground propolis, pour 100 ml of rectified alcohol and shake for 30 minutes, then the mixture is insisted for three days, shaken again, put in the cold for 2 hours and filtered with a paper filter.

For the preparation of propolis oil, 10 g of ground propolis is mixed with 100 g of unsalted butter heated on a water dome. Extract the propolis by heating the mixture in a water bath for 5-10 minutes, after which it is filtered in a hot state through a single layer of gauze, stirring constantly. During the extraction of propolis, it is not recommended to bring the mixture to a boil.

These drugs, we used in the ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, when the general treatment was ineffective, and the surgical – is contraindicated.

Alcohol propolis solution should be applied internally for 15-20 drops on water, boiled milk or 0.5% novocaine, three times a day for 1-1.5 h before meals, for 18-20 days. If necessary, repeat the course after one to two weeks.

It is necessary to adhere strictly to dosing: large doses can cause deterioration of appetite, decrease in general tone, lethargy, increase in leukocytes in the blood.

Propolisnoe oil is used internally for 1 teaspoon on warmed milk, three times a day for 1-1.5 h before meals. The duration of the course of treatment is the same. The use of propolis oil is contraindicated in liver diseases.

With the use of propolis, pain usually decreases already on the 4th-5th day, and after 10-12 days disappear.

In some cases, alcohol solution of propolis we used for chronic gastritis. In this case, patients noted that at the beginning of the treatment the pains disappeared. In addition, they have improved appetite and heartburn.

When prescribing propolis preparations, one must take into account that there are people who are hypersensitive to it. Thus there is an itch, sometimes a rash. After stopping the reception of propolis, these phenomena disappear.
