Chopping straw

Once my father in the winter provided cut straw of two horses and two cows, he would cut her, pour boiling water, pour bran, mix and eat cattle perfectly.

In the picture, a portable straw shredder, which can be fitted to a post, wall, etc. To produce it, you need a strip of spring steel, which the blacksmith bends, and the cutting side pulls and sharpens. At one end make a hole for the bolt diameter of 8 mm, and on the other handle, which is put on a rubber hose 15 cm long.

Two other strips with a section of 40X5 or 50X5 mm are bent along the radius of the knife and holes 8 mm in diameter are made at their ends. On one side (three ends: the same as two strips) are connected with a bolt, and on the second – between the stripes insert a washer with a thickness of like. Two strips and a washer are connected with a bolt. Then from the bars and boards make a machine, to which, with the help of three bolts (diameter 8 mm) welded to the curved strip, the device is fixed.

The essence of the matter: such devices that are manufactured, complex, expensive, need special care, operation and storage, but everything is simple for me.
