How to remove a swarm of bees
To remove the swarm, I use a simple and convenient device. It consists of a stand and a set of metal tubes. To the length of pipe 2, three supports 1 are welded from the corners of 20X20 mm, connected with each other by the same angle. In the pipe there is a threaded hole for screw 3 with a diameter of 8 mm with a handle welded to it (not shown in the figure).
To raise the rovney there are two pipes 2 and 3 m long. In the upper part of each of them, rods are hammered, allowing the pipes to be joined together and to strengthen the sowing rods on them. Instead of the rods, you can use a clutch. A hook is attached to a pipe 3 m long at one end, and a clutch with a bolt is attached to the other to connect another pipe if necessary.
I remove the swarm as follows. Having determined the distance to the swarm by eye, I take one or two connected pipes. On the free rod I strengthen the rover. The resulting pole is inserted into the stand and fixed with a screw. With the help of a hood, I shake the bees into the rover. Then I lower it or put it on the ground. In any case, the remaining bees will gather in the village about 10-15 minutes later.
