Lime honey
Lime honey belongs to the best grades. Thanks to an exceptionally pleasant taste, it is highly appreciated. Freshly excreted on a honey extractor, this honey is very fragrant, usually transparent, slightly yellow or greenish in color; contains 36.05% glucose and 39.27% levulose. Ufa (Bashkir) lime honey, the so-called lipstick, is colorless, crystallizes into a white, golden-colored, coarse-grained mass. The Amur (Far Eastern) lime honey is of a slightly yellowish color.
All samples of linden honey have an excellent specific flavor and remarkable taste. However, the lime Ufa honey is inferior to the Far Eastern, as it causes a feeling of weak bitterness, which quickly disappears. Lime honey bees are made from nectar of greenish-yellow lime blossoms, which the people nicknamed the queen of honey plants for its high honey-bearing qualities. From a hectare of flowering lindens receive 1000 kg of honey and more.
