The loss of a swarm results in a shortage of honey and honeycombs in the apiary. To prevent its exit, use self-made rouletteers of different designs.
The proposed site allows you to combine several operations:
Removal of the swarm;
Keeping it in a cool room;
Transplanting bees from the rovney to the hive; selection of the uterus from the swarm;
Trapping of drones; Detention in the hive of the uterus of a detached family;
Bait and catch swarms.
To perform all these operations, usually three or four devices are required. In addition, the application of this method allows minimizing the trauma or loss of bees and uterus. Roevnia is a V-shaped box of prismatic shape, the open face of which has dimensions equal to the dimensions of the hull of the multi-hull in the horizontal plane. The lid is hinged on the hull shell.

If only bees need to be removed from the rove, leaving the uterus in it, then before the removal of the swarm into the grooves 4 an additional grating is placed, and when the swarm is transplanted into the hive, the lid 12 is shifted only to the edge of the lattice. In the holes 6 of the song, smoke is emitted, and the bees pass through the grill into the hive. The uterus can not pass through the grate and remains in the bowl.
In swarm time, if the beekeeper needs to leave the apiary for a while, you can do so. Remove the roof from the hive of the swarm family and in its place put the rovnyu with the lid extended and the open bolts on the holes 10. In the hive close all the tapholes. If the family releases the swarm, the uterus can not pass through the holes 10, and the swarm will return to the hive.
Immediately after the departure of the swarm, the hive of the detached family is transported by a lift truck to the side, and a one-hull hive with a prepared nest is placed in its place and a rovnev with a detained uterus is placed on top of it. The swarms of the swarm gather in a hive set in the place of the maternal family. After their flight, the uterus is released, the burrow is removed, and the body is covered with a lid. The family that released the swarm is returned to their original place.
