Foods for preparation: 500 g of honey, 500 g of flour, 20 g of lard, 120 g of powdered sugar, 3 egg yolks.

Honey boil well, remove from heat, add to it 250 g of flour, 20 grams of smaltz, mix

Homogenous mass and put in a warm place for 2-3 hours. 250 g of flour to sift on a board, mix with 120 g of powdered sugar, 3 egg yolks, knead the dough and combine it with honey mass.

Dough rolled into a layer and molds cut out cookies.

The metal sheet is sprinkled with flour and baked in a hot oven at high temperature. The surface of hot baked honey biscuits can be smeared with sweet milk, giving it a shine in this way.

Recipe 2

“Domino” cookies with honey.

Products for the preparation of cookies: 150 g of sugar, 2 eggs, 3 tbsp. spoons of honey, 50 g of chocolate, 200 g of flour, 1/2 packet of powder for biscuits.

Sugar with eggs stir until foamy, add to it slightly warmed honey, grated chocolate and flour mixed with powder for biscuits.

The finished dough should be placed in a greased baking sheet (0.5 cm thick layer) and baked at low temperature.

Cover the sugar with icing and leave to dry, and then cut into a domino. On the surface of the biscuits put (drop) points of liquid chocolate.

Transylvanian honey biscuits.

Products for the preparation of cookies: 450 g rye flour, 6 tbsp. spoons of honey, 4 eggs, 5 grams of ground cinnamon, 2-3 pcs. powdered carnations, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, almonds.

From flour, honey, eggs, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla sugar, carefully kneaded, knead the dough, roll it out with a layer and cut out the round crusts with a shape or glass.

Sprinkle the surface of the biscuits with egg yolk and decorate with halves of peeled almonds.

Products bake at medium temperature.
